ARBITRARY ZEN is an independent multimedia studio in Cincinnati, Ohio, founded by brothers Chris Riethmiller and Todd Riethmiller. The studio creates original games, art, music, and software with a shared creative philosophy: every visual, sound, and system should feel like part of the same world.
Its first game, Skillhead, transforms color theory into a competitive three-player experience shaped by original artwork, music, and online play.
Current title
A competitive mobile color game where every move changes the arena.
Players enter as red, yellow, or blue, paint and repaint moving pieces, and combine colors to create orange, green, and purple. A move that strengthens one position can also create exactly the color a rival needs.
Skillhead combines strategic color mixing with online multiplayer, cloud saves, leaderboards, original artwork, and a nine-track soundtrack.
